HUGE Collective Haul! (MAC, Sephora, NARS, Costco, CVS, Yankee Candle)

Hey everyone! Holiday Break is finally here and let me tell ya, I am soo glad(: Sorry...again...for the lack of posts last week, of course, it was the week for teachers cramming in as many tests and projects as there are days of the week..|: It's quite maddening, but  I'm just glad it's all over and time to relax!(: As for today, the first day of break, I've been Christmas shopping like no other and so I decided I should probably put this Haul up before it gets too big to make! Keep in mind that this is stuff that I've been keeping for this haul for SEVERAL months and everything was bought with my own money, nothing was free (although I wish it was ;) Anyways, enjoy!(: (And since this Haul is so big, I'm not going to write first impressions and all that stuff on all the products, if you see something you'd like to know my thoughts on, email me or comment below!)

HAULIN' TIME: CVS...AGAIN ;D

Hey everyone! Again, sorry I didn't post any posts for the whole last week, it's been super busy with school work and studying for tests pretty much every single day--man I hate those things. Anyways, I managed to stop by CVS and pick up some things so here you are!

HAULIN' TIME: CVS...AGAIN ;D

First off, it was time for me to get a new toothpaste so I'd seen some commercials for this one: Colgate Optic White, and thought I should try it out! I am always looking for things to whiten my teeth anyways, so when I heard that this had the same whitening ingredient as strips and was enamel safe, I was hooked ;D Plus, when I went to CVS, it was the last one... that's a good sign right? ;)

Here's the color: white with little granules. Flavor: Sparkling Mint (: So far, I've used it for a couple of days and really like it, I haven't noticed whitening yet, but I'll give it a week or two. It's very foamy once you start brushing and has a rather strong minty flavor, but bearable.

I also really needed some new nail polish remover, so I decided to get the Strengthening one, cause that's always a plus. And so far, this removes my nail polish very quick and easily, yess ;D

I also really needed to get an anti-residue shampoo to clear up all of the buildup I imagined I probably had, especially since my scalp has been getting dry. So I used this Neutrogena Anti-Residue Formula Shampoo yesterday, and it's like completely cleared up my itchy, dry scalp! So if you have an itchy or dry scalp and you use a lot of products on your hair (like me),  then definitely try this out! It could be the key to your problems..

(MINI) HAULIN' TIME: CVS GOODIES (:

Hey again everyone! I went for a little CVS trip today and decided that I should do a haul since I haven't been doing many beauty posts lately..So anyways, I just wanna get right into the haul, here we go:

HAULIN' TIME: CVS

The CVS Goodies I bought include: Ardell Fashion Lashes in Demure Black, L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base, Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Waterproof Mascara (Blackest Black), Duo Eyelash Adhesive in Clear/White, and Papermate    Write Bros. Grip M Black Pens.

First off, I got some Ardell Fashion Lashes in Demure Black. The reason I got these is because I had watched a tutorial where the girl used the Ardell Demi Wispies Lashes but since I couldn't find them, I went with these instead. Which I really like them, they look very natural, which was what I was looking for (:

Close-up of the lashes.

And of course, I had to get lash glue, and what better than the most talked about Duo Eyelash Adhesive!  Which works GREAT by the way (:

Here's my eye with the Ardell Demure Black Lashes on! I love that they look natural enough to wear everyday, these are definitley my new favorite fake lashes (:

I also finally gave in and purchased the L'Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base. I've heard a lot of people talking about it lately and when I was at CVS, it was the last one on the shelf, so I figured hey, why not? I need a primer badly anyways.

The primer is a very pale pink color and not thick and pasty like it may look at all. It's very light and more on the moussy side.

Here's a swatch of the L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base unblended. When blended, it's clear, so I figured it'd be pointless to put a blended swatch ;D

I also got the Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Waterproof Mascara in Blackest Black . And if you read my blog regularly, you'll know that this isn't a new purchase for me, but my old one dried up because the cap broke! But I absolutley LOVE this mascara, it really plumps them and makes them fuller (:

I also got these Papermate Pens which I know you're going to think is wierd to put in a haul but I just wanted to because these pens are awesome! They write so nicely and I figured since school is starting soon, I thought maybe you'd want some suggestions for nice pens ;D

Here's the name of the pens.

Welp, that's the end of my Mini CVS Haul! I hope that maybe you got some ideas for your next shopping list!   As always, thanks so much for reading and remember to Follow this blog for updates (:

Until later,

HAULIN' TIME: CVS TRAVEL ESSENTIALS! (& LASTING IMPRESSIONS)

Hello again everyone! I just went to CVS (which is like my favorite drugstore ;)  yesterday to get some travel essentials for our trip and decided, hey! I should do a haul! Now, I didn't actually buy any makeup products, I know, it's unbelievable, but I'm serious! There are some hair products and skin products, but absolutley NO makeup! And believe me, it was VERY hard to resist especially since Salma Hayek's new Nuance line stand seemed so inviting ;D Anyways, on to the haul: (And sorry about the lighting, I took these pics last night because I had to pack them today)

NEW UPDATE (8-21-2011): And it's been a week now, and I wanted to tell you guys my Lasting Impressions on the products since I've been using them on the trip this past week to the beach!

HAULIN' TIME: CVS TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

I'll start off with the one kind-of makeup product that I got ;D I got some Essence Of Beauty Double Sided Sponge-Tip Applicators because, honestly, I'm kinda liking them better than brushes right now for packing shadow on the lid and smudging lashlines.

LASTING IMPRESSION: Now that I've been using these for a week, I've really taken a liking to them! I love using them to pack shadow on the lid and they work GREAT for smudging the lower lashline (:

On to skin products, I needed some sunscreen for the trip so I decided to try the new Neutrogena Wet Skin Spray-on Sunscreen with SPF 30. It has NO PABA as stated on the back and is supposed to be sweat and water proof, so that's awesome(: And I really like that it sprays which takes away the hassle of rubbing it in and making sure there aren't patches. Also, my skin is very sensitive to sunscreens, so we'll see if it holds up.

LASTING IMPRESSION: I've also been using this for a week while we were on vacation in the sun and ocean full blast so I was really excited to share my thoughts on this sunscreen now that I've been using it and I have to say, I LOVE it! The spray is SUPER convenient and it's clear so it doesn't leave a white film on your skin. And it didn't bother my skin AT ALL. And I didn't get burnt while using it, (even after a full day on the beach) I just went straight to tan! This ones a definite A+ on my list!

I also got the Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing & Makeup Removing Face Wash, and this is actually my second bottle which is big for me because it seems like I don't usually buy the same thing twice, but this face wash, honestly, works better than my Clinique Mild Soap! It removes my makeup SO well, there's absolutley nothing left on my face when I'm finished! And it feels very fresh and smells awesome! (Like apples) This is a definite must for my skin care routine!

Now for hair care items! I needed a new frizz reducing product because I ran completely out of my Tresemme Spray Gel (which I cannot find in ANY stores anymore!) So I decided to try this one, the Anti-Frizz Secret Smoothing Creme. It'll be put through the ultimate test of humidity on this trip!

LASTING IMPRESSION: I used this every day after a long day at the beach after showering off the saltwater and sand and it was GREAT! I would use my Aussie Hair Insurance Leave-In Conditioner and then scrunched this product throughout my hair and it completely tamed frizz and kept it manageable even in the humid salt air (:

I also got the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner, and this is actually my THIRD repurchase! Ahh! That tells ya right there that this product is awesome! It really makes my hair soft and actually blends my roots into my colored hair! I always come back to this!

Next, is hair color, which is actually for my mom, but the last time I colored my hair, I used this exact color! This is the John Frieda Precision Foam Colour in the shade: 5N Medium Natural Brown. My hair actually ALWAYS pulls darker than the actual color, so my hair is actually a little darker than this at the moment. But anyways, this is also a repurchase because it really is a great hair color, covers gray (according to my mom), doesn't leave patches, and doesn't leave your hair dry and damaged(:

I also got this pack of headbands from Goody? I can't even remember the brand ;D But it comes with six headbands for only like $2! It comes with a braided one, and five skinny colored headbands (black, silver, maroon-ish color, a green, and charcoal). I always need headbands for the beach to keep the ocean breeze from blowing my hair all over the place!

LASTING IMPRESSION: I loved using these headbands on the beach all week (: They held back my hair and kept it from blowing all over the place!

I also got a Seventeen Magazine (the September issue)(Why do magazines do that? It's not even the end of August? ;D) I got it to read during the trip and I just got a Sephora magazine in the mail so you can bet I'll be reading that! By the way, as you can tell, Ashley Benson from Pretty Little Liars is on the cover! (I love that show!)

I also of course had to get some new sunglasses. These ones are from Panama Jack and are supposed to be shatter-resistant (Good because I drop them a lot ;D). I really like them and they are quite big, just the way I like it (;

LASTING IMPRESSION: I loved these glasses on the beach (: They didn't make things look a wierd color like some sunglasses do and really blocked out the sun from my eyes! And they live up to their reputation, I dropped them once and no shattering!

And lastly, I know you've all been wondering what the background is for these pictures, and if you're not, well I'm just gonna tell ya anyways! It's this duffel bag! Believe it or not, this is actually CVS brand and looks surprisingly close to the Vera Bradley Love Me Pattern (which is my wallet's pattern)! It's a really nice size bag and I really needed a new duffel bag for the trip!

LASTING IMPRESSION: This bag was GREAT for the trip to the beach! All of my clothes fit in it and it stretched when it needed to. It's also very durable!

Welp, that's the end of my CVS Haul! I hope that you guys liked it even though it wasn't really makeup-related...but it was still fun, right? ;D Anyways, thanks soo much for reading and remember to Follow this blog for updates! And by the way, I'm not going to be able to post anything for the whole next week because,  if you haven't guessed, we are going on our trip! So sorry about that, but I will be back to posting as much as I can after that!

Until (a week ;D) later,
