LOOK OF THE DAY: CHANEL FEATURED LOOK (FOR LESS!)

Hey everyone! I got an email last week from Chanel with a picture of their "Featured Look" and decided that I had to recreate it! It's very simple and easy to recreate, so don't worry! The main focus of the look is navy blue liner, which I love (:

LOOK OF THE DAY: CHANEL FOR LESS!

This pic is from Chanel.com
This is the Chanel "Featured Look" that I'm recreating today!

THE TUTORIAL:

STEP 1: First off, I prime my lids with my MAC Painterly Paint Pot because it has more of a pink-tone like they have on the lids in the Chanel Pic.

This is the Drugstore Palette that I will be using to recreate this look! It is the Maybelline 8-Color Palette in Twilight Rays.

STEP 2: I then take a sponge-tip applicator and apply a light pink shade to my lids from my Maybelline 8-Color Palette in Twilight Rays to brighten and add to the pink tone we're trying to achieve.

STEP 3: I then apply my CoverGirl Exact Eyelights Brightening Eyeliner in Radiant Sapphire along my entire upper lashline and on the outer half of my lower lashline (Don't worry about making it perfect because we're going to put shadow over it!)

STEP 4: I then take a navy blue shadow from my Maybelline 8-Color Palette in Twilight Rays and slightly smudge it over the navy blue liner on the upper and lower lashline with a small sponge-tip applicator to soften the look.

STEP 5: I then apply a thin coat of Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara in Excessive Black on my upper lashes and Maybelline Great Lash in Blackest Black on my lower lashes.

STEP 6: I then apply my Ardell Fashion Lashes in Demure Black onto my upper lashline using my Duo Clear-White Eyelash Adhesive, these really add to the look and almost replicate the model's lashes!

Welp, that's the end of my Recreation of the Chanel Featured Look for less! I hope that you enjoyed it and will recreate it! As always, thanks so much for reading and remember to Follow for more SunbasqueInBeauty!

LOOK OF THE DAY (BACK-TO-SCHOOL): GILDED BRONZE

Hey everyone! I'm so proud of myself, a post every day for three days straight! ;D Anyways, this is another Back-to-school look in the series! It's just a gorgeous gilded bronze gold look!(: (Sorry the picture doesn't do it as much justice as I'd have hoped...)

LOTD (BACK-TO-SCHOOL): GILDED BRONZE

STEP 1: First, I always prime my lids with my Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden to make sure there's no smudging or creasing throughout the day.

STEP 2: I then take my Benefit Gilded Highlighter and apply it all over my lid.

STEP 3: I then set the gold highlighter with a gold shadow, my Urban Decay Shadow in Half Baked using a flat shader brush. This prolongs the vibrancy and wear of the highlighter!

STEP 4: I then apply my Urban Decay Shadow in Buck in the crease and outer v using a fluffy crease brush  to add definition and contrast to make the gold on the lid pop!

STEP 5: I then apply a very light gold color, my MAC Shadow in Ricepaper, on my brow bone to highlight using a fluffy shader brush.

STEP 6: I then apply my Sephora Liner Electro in Copper Electro on the outer half of my lower lashline for a nice bronze effect (:

STEP 7: I then take my Urban Decay Shadow in Smog and smudge it over the bronze liner on the outer half of my lower lashline to set it and make sure that no smudging occurs throughout the day.

STEP 8: And of course, I then take my favorite liquid liner, Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen in Blackest Black and apply it on my upper lashline, making sure not to take the line all the way to the inner corner of my eye to avoid making the look too harsh.

STEP 9: And lastly, of course I apply my favorite mascara, Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara in Blackest Black on my upper lashes and Maybelline Great Lash in Blackest Black on my lower lashes!

Welp, that's the end of my second Back-to-School Look of the Day! I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did making it and as always, thanks so much for reading and remember to Follow for more SunbasqueInBeauty! (:

P.S. Be on the look-out tomorrow for a Chanel Featured Look recreated for less! (:

LOOK OF THE DAY (BACK-TO-SCHOOL!): TAPESTRY TAUPE

Hey everyone! I've really been trying hard to post at least one post per day! So today, I was thinking, hey, everyone's been doing back-to-school looks, so I should make a back-to-school version of my Look of the Days! I'm going to be doing a couple of back-to-school looks that have pretty much been my go-to looks lately, so to start off, I'm going to show you my "CoverGirl Tapestry Taupe" Look:

BACK-TO-SCHOOL LOTD: TAPESTRY TAUPE

STEP 1: First off, I apply my Urban Decay Shadow Primer in Eden all over my lid to prevent creasing and smudging throughout a long day at school.

STEP 2: I first take a flat shader brush and apply my CoverGirl Eyeshadow in Mink all over my lid.

STEP 3: I then take my CoverGirl Eyeshadow in Tapestry Taupe and apply it into my crease and Outer V with a fluffy crease brush.

STEP 4: I then applied my Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen in Blackest Black on my upper lashline.

STEP 5: I then take my Sephora Liner Electro in Copper Electro and apply it on the outer half of my lower lashline.

STEP 6: I then take my Urban Decay Shadow in Smog and smudged it with a small crease brush on the outer half of my lower lashline over the brown Sephora Liner to prolong the liner throughout the day.

STEP 7: And lastly, I curl my lashes and apply my Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara in Blackest Black on my upper lashes and my Maybelline Great Lash on my lower lashes.

Welp, that's the end of my Back-to-school Look of the Day! I hope you guys liked it and helped you with what to try for school! Thanks so much for reading and remember to Follow for updates! (:
