LOOK OF THE DAY: CHANEL FEATURED LOOK (FOR LESS!)

Hey everyone! I got an email last week from Chanel with a picture of their "Featured Look" and decided that I had to recreate it! It's very simple and easy to recreate, so don't worry! The main focus of the look is navy blue liner, which I love (:

LOOK OF THE DAY: CHANEL FOR LESS!

This pic is from Chanel.com
This is the Chanel "Featured Look" that I'm recreating today!

THE TUTORIAL:

STEP 1: First off, I prime my lids with my MAC Painterly Paint Pot because it has more of a pink-tone like they have on the lids in the Chanel Pic.

This is the Drugstore Palette that I will be using to recreate this look! It is the Maybelline 8-Color Palette in Twilight Rays.

STEP 2: I then take a sponge-tip applicator and apply a light pink shade to my lids from my Maybelline 8-Color Palette in Twilight Rays to brighten and add to the pink tone we're trying to achieve.

STEP 3: I then apply my CoverGirl Exact Eyelights Brightening Eyeliner in Radiant Sapphire along my entire upper lashline and on the outer half of my lower lashline (Don't worry about making it perfect because we're going to put shadow over it!)

STEP 4: I then take a navy blue shadow from my Maybelline 8-Color Palette in Twilight Rays and slightly smudge it over the navy blue liner on the upper and lower lashline with a small sponge-tip applicator to soften the look.

STEP 5: I then apply a thin coat of Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara in Excessive Black on my upper lashes and Maybelline Great Lash in Blackest Black on my lower lashes.

STEP 6: I then apply my Ardell Fashion Lashes in Demure Black onto my upper lashline using my Duo Clear-White Eyelash Adhesive, these really add to the look and almost replicate the model's lashes!

Welp, that's the end of my Recreation of the Chanel Featured Look for less! I hope that you enjoyed it and will recreate it! As always, thanks so much for reading and remember to Follow for more SunbasqueInBeauty!

Until later,

  1. Hi,
How do you take the false eyelahses off? With eye makeup remover:oily or non oily? And can you put mascara on top of them?

    1. Well, this probably isn't how you're supposed to take them off, but I honestly just start on the outside and pull them off! I find that doing it like that doesn't damage my lashes at all and doesn't tug that much!

But you could use makeup remover just on the lash line with a q-tip to remove the glue.As for oily or non-oily, I would imagine non-oily would be better so it doesn't gunk up the lashes.

As for mascara, I put mascara on top of them all the time, although it does gunk them up after a while. But you could use some makeup remover with a tissue and remove the mascara from them!

      Hope this helps!
