OUTFIT OF THE DAY: PREPPY CASUAL

Hey everyone! So sorry that I haven't done a post in what seems like months, I've just been so busy with school unfortunately starting again and all those beginning of the year project that we all know and love (kidding of course (; ) that I just haven't had time to do much of anything! But I figured now that it's a long weekend (yippee!) I should do some catching-up posts! So here's an outfit of the day for ya! And you'll probably be seeing quite a few of these since I have to come up with something every day at 5 in the morning for school :| And I wanted to let you know that I just placed an order from Sephora and so a Haul is coming in the near future(: Anyways, enough of my "rambliness", on to the outfit:

OOTD: PREPPY CASUAL

SHIRT: For the top, I am wearing just a plain white v-neck short-sleeved shirt from Target and then on top of that, a Abercrombie & Fitch blue and white striped shirt (that I actually got at Plato's Closet for soo much cheaper than I would've normally paid for it!) and I just tucked it in and rolled up the sleeves. (If you've never been there, definitely give it a try!)

BOTTOM: As for the bottoms, I am wearing some navy blue shorts from Target as well and a skinny leather braided belt from Forever 21.

SHOES: As for shoes, I just wore some navy blue Abercrombie Flip Flops, which by the way, I have had these flip flops for years and they are virtually indestructable! And believe me, they've been through a lot ;D

HAIR: I just loosely curled my hair with my Conair Curling Wand and finished with some Tresemme Hairspray! (Click here for a review on the wand!)

Welp, that's the end of my Outfit of the Day! I hope that you liked it and that it inspired you to recreate it! As always, thanks so much for reading and be on the lookout for a Lip of the Day and Sephora Haul! And remember to Follow this blog for updates!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: SUMMER DENIM

SHIRT: For the top, I am wearing a abstract-floral type sports bra underneath. And on top of that I am wearing a medium blue half-button up shirt from Target. I tucked it in because it's SUPER long (;

SHORTS: As for the bottom, I am wearing my "destroyed" jean shorts in Dark Wash from Forever 21 and a light skinny braided leather belt also from Forever 21.

Welp, that's the end of my Outfit of the Day! I know it was short but I really just wanted to show you guys my outfit because I really like it and I just threw it together and then I was like, hey, I like this! ;D Anyways, as always, thanks so much for reading, and remember to Follow this blog for updates!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: FUN BEACHY CASUAL

Hey everyone! I'm truly sorry that it's been so long since I've done a post, but honestly, I was just really busy with work and such! But now, things are calming down and so I'll be back on my regular posting schedule(: I've recently been loving shirts like the Hollister-type shirts...you'll see below ;D Anyways, I came up with this outfit and for some reason it reminds me of the beach if you were to wear a swimsuit under it..Anywayys, on to the outfit:

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: FUN BEACHY CASUAL

SHIRT: On the top, I'm wearing a light blue casual shirt with rolled up sleeves that I'm not sure of the brand...and also a long gold necklace with a feather, heart, and shell charm from Forever 21.

BOTTOM: As for the pants, I am wearing peach-colored canvas shorts from the brand Mossimo from Target(: And sorry they're so wrinkly, I've been wearing them all day ;D And also a skinny braided leather belt from Forever 21.

OTHER PHOTOS:

Of course, part of the beachy look has to include sunglasses(:
Here's a close-up of the shirt pattern.
Here's a close-up of the necklace.
Here's the bracelet I'm wearing, a gold chain link one(:
Here's a close-up of the belt.
By the way, like my nails? I decided to paint them all in OPI's Malaysian Mist except for my index fingers which I painted in this really pretty silver color(: Let me know what ya think (;

Welp, that's the end of my Fun Beachy Casual Outfit of the Day! I hope that you liked it and that it inspired you to recreate it(: As always, thanks so much for reading and remember to Follow this blog for updates!

OUTFIT & LOOK OF THE DAY: FROM A DAY ON THE BEACH TO A SHORESIDE CAFE

Hey everyone! Recently I've been really stoked about going to the beach in about a month and I was feeling like dressing in a sort of "California Day-Around-Town" look, if you know what I mean (; So this is going to be an outfit AND look of the day fit for a day at the beach and a California night on the town! Pretty cool right, it's like two in one! ;D Anyways, on to the makeup:

THE MAKEUP:

For the makeup, I wanted to keep it bright and simple enough to wear to the beach, but enough to wear to a shoreside restaurant or cafe(:

STEP 1: First off, I just used my finger and applied my Benefit Cream Creaseless Shadow in R.S.V.P all over the lid and up to a little above the crease.

STEP 2: I then took a flat shader brush and applied Urban Decay's Eyeshadow in Sin from the Naked Palette all over my lid and up to a little above the crease.

STEP 3: I then took the same brush and applied Urban Decay's Eyeshadow in Sidecar from the Naked Palette on the outer third of my lid for some depth.

STEP 4: I then took a fluffy crease brush and applied Urban Decay's Eyeshadow in Naked from the Naked Palette into my crease and just a little above to add some dimension.

STEP 5: I then took a big, fluffy shader brush and highlighted my brow bone with Urban Decay's Eyeshadow in Virgin from the Naked Palette.

STEP 6: I then applied my Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Whiskey on my upper lashline starting thick at the outer and going thinner towards the middle.

STEP 7: Lastly, as always, I curled my lashes and applied my Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Waterproof Mascara in Blackest Black on my upper lashes and Maybelline Great Lash in Blackest Black on the lower lashes. (Click here to see a review of Revlon Grow Luscious and click here to see a mini-review on Maybelline Great Lash).

 PART 2: THE OUTFIT

AT  THE SHORESIDE CAFE

SHIRT: As for the shirt, I'm just wearing a white cami from Kohls underneath a light sweater-type button-down cream vest.

SHORTS: As for the shorts, I am wearing white Mossimo shorts from Target and a skinny braided belt from Forever 21.

SHOES: As for the shoes, I would wear a more dressy sandal such as these gold strap sandals from the Beach Club.

Here's the shoe without my foot in it ;D

Here's the brand(:

Here's a close up of the belt.

Here's a close up of the sweater material and buttons.

A DAY AT THE BEACH

If you're going to the beach after or before the shoreside cafe, just add some sunglasses such as these Aviator ones from Mossimo from Target and a swimsuit underneath and you're ready for some sun and sand(:

As for the shoes, I would wear just some flip flops to the beach or some more casual sandals such as these ones from Forever 21(:

Here's the shoe without my foot in it again.. ;D

Here's a close up of the brand of sandal.

ACCESSORIES:

As for accessories, I'm just wearing a silver charm bracelet from Disneyland and a leather bracelet from a recent camping trip(:

Here's a close up of the mickey charm on the Disney charm bracelet.

Here's a close up of the Aviator Sunglasses from Target.

Welp, that's the end of my spontaneous Outfit & Look of the Day for the beach ;D I hope that you enjoyed it and that it gave you some ideas! As always, thanks for reading(:

Until later,

P.S.
Is it just me or are these clouds just kind of wierd? ;D

HAULIN' TIME: TARGET!

These are all of the makeup products that I bought(:
Hello...again, everyone ;D So this is the haul that I have been talking about doing for a couple of days now, so here it finally is! I just bought a couple clothing items and some makeup products (of course(; ) So here goes:

HAULIN' TIME: TARGET!

MAKEUP:
I was looking for a good everyday nail color so I saw this one and was like, "Here it is!" It is an OPI Nail Lacquer in Malaysian Mists. It looks like a really light pink in the bottle... (And for some reason they don't sell OPI online...)

...But on the nails it looks like a light peachy-pink color which I absolutley love(; This picture is with two heavy coats applied on my nails. It's pretty opaque as far as I can tell and smooths out very well on your nails. I also have my Seche Vite topcoat over top of the color.

I was running out of my Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer so I saw this ELF Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter in Medium for only $3, who can beat that? And it comes with a highlighter! I love the rubbery type packaging and it's got pretty nice coverage(:

Here's the swatches of the concealer in Medium and the highlighter in Glow. (I know the concealer looks dark but this swatch is on the inside of my arm and that part of my arm isn't tan unlike my face(;  ).

I also decided that I had to just give in and buy the ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder because everyone talks about it SO much as being a dupe for the NARS Orgasm & Laguna Duo.

Here are the colors up close in the pan. I have to admit, they do look pretty similar to the NARS...

Here's the swatches of the ELF Duo, they're really pigmented and soft(:

I also decided to give in and buy the most-talked about NYC Sunny Smooth Skin Bronzer(; I've heard quite a bit of people talk about it... And I really needed a matte bronzer(:

Here's what it looks like in the pan.

And here's the swatch, so far, I'm not really impressed with the pigmentation, but I'm just judging that by when I used my finger to swatch it...It might be better with a brush!

CLOTHES:
From Target, I got a really nice, comfy, light sweatshirt that has rolled up sleeves but you can actually roll them down if it gets cold, these navy blue really soft shorts to wear over my swimsuit and stuff, and a really cute navy blue triangle swimsuit with little seagulls on it, like Hollister(;
Here's the sweatshirt, it's a really light material, great for cool summer nights(:

Here's a close up of the decal on the front. It says: Mustang State and there's a horse head as you can see.

I also got these really cute navy blue-ish shorts to wear over my swimsuit to the beach and such(: They are SO soft(:

Here's the cool metal string things up close(:

Here's the swimsuit top, I sware it looks like it's from Hollister! It looks exactly like one of the swimsuits they sell.. and no, I didn't get the bottoms because I had a tight budget. But I have other bottoms that would go with it(; And i'll probably go back and get it when it's on sale ;D

Here's a close up of the seagull, how cute?

Welp, that's the end of my haul! I hope you enjoyed reading it and just to let you know, I'm going to be away for the weekend so I won't be able to do any posts over the weekend :( Anyways, as always, thanks for reading(:

Until later,
